DUSHANBE, April 16, Asia-Plus – Ways to expand bilateral cooperation were a major topic of a meeting of Sharif Said, the head of Tajikistan’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), with visiting deputy governor of the Kashgar district of China’s Xinjiang-Uighur Autonomous Region (XUAR), Temour Mamad, that was held in Dushanbe on April 15, Tajik CCI’s press service said.
Tursun Yasin, the head of Kashgar’s CCI, also attended the meeting that focused on issues related to holding an exhibition of Kashgar goods in Dushanbe this summer.
During the meeting, the Kashgar deputy governor handed invitations for Tajik entrepreneurs to attend the Kashgar International Trade Exhibition that will open on June 28 this year.
During its stay in Tajikistan, the Kashgar delegation is scheduled to visit Khorog, Gorno Badakhshan and Qurghon Teppa, Khatlon province to hold talks with local authorities, according to CCI’s press service.
