DUSHANBE, January 27, 2016, Asia-Plus – Tajik President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes on January 27, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

Deputy Prime Minister, Ms. Marhabo Jabbori, was retired for age reasons.  She had served as Deputy Prime Minister since November 23, 2013.

Mahmadali Vatanzoda, formerly deputy of Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament), was appointed President Adviser for Legal Affairs and President’s Representative to Parliament.

Ms. Makhfirat Khidirzoda, who had previously served as Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs, was appointed Deputy Governor of Khatlon Province, replacing Ms. Sitora Sherzoda, who was retired for age reasons.

Ms. Idiqul Qosimzoda, formerly Rector of the State Institute of Languages, was appointed to head the Committee for Family and Women’s Affairs.

Mahmadullo Rajabzoda was appointed Rector the State Institute of Languages.

Besides, Mizrob Kabirov was nominated to the post of head of office of Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament) upon recommendation of the President.
