DUSHANBE, May 4, 2016, Asia-Plus — The National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT) has stopped operations of one more microlending organization.

According to the NBT press center, Tajik central bank on May 3 stopped operations of Microlending Agency Haqiqi Jahon Limited Liability Company in connection with voluntary liquidation at its request.

Haqiqi Jahon LTD has reportedly failed to comply with the NBT’s minimum capital requirements for the microlending organizations.

We will recall that the NBT last year stopped operations of dozens of microlending organizations for the same reason.

Tajik central bank says that twenty-one other lending agencies are currently at the stage of liquidation.
