KULOB, March 3, Asia-Plus  — Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov was on a working visit to the Khatlon province on March 1.    

Deputy Kulob mayor, Pirmad Zaripov, told Asia-Plus that the prime minister had visited the Kulob and Vose districts.  Khaybullo Latifov, the head of the Committee for Emergency Situations (CES) accompanied  him on this trip.

The aim of his visit to Kulob and Vose was to get acquainted with a progress of work on rehabilitation of flood protection embankments long the Yakhsou River, the deputy mayor said.

During his stay in Khatlon, the prime minister also familiarized himself with a progress of preparation of the spring sowing campaign in the region.
