DUSHANBE, June 10, 2016, Asia-Plus — Bactria Cultural Center (BCC) announces the launch of the new English Language Training Program for journalists working in governmental and nongovernmental organizations of Tajikistan.

The Project “English for Journalism” is initiated and sponsored by the US Embassy in Dushanbe and will cover the academic year of 2016/17.

Students studying journalism at higher educational institutions of Tajikistan are also eligible to apply.

According to the US Embassy, selected candidates will be divided into 4 proficiency levels Elementary-Pre-Intermediate-Intermediate and Upper-intermediate based on administrated written and oral English placement test.

People interested to participate in the training program are required to contact BCC at 2270554 or e-mail [email protected] to complete their registration by filling out an application form.  The deadline for registration is June 20th, 2016.

Classes will begin the first week of July.
