During the meeting, Chancellor Merkel reportedly positively assessed the level of relations between Tajikistan and Germany and added that Germany was interested in further expansion of cooperation with Tajikistan.

German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Frank-Walter Steinmeier attended Chancellor Merkel’s meeting with the ambassadors.
