Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan in Japan Hamrokhon Zarifi on the 6th of September met with the Minister for reconstruction – Minister for the coordination of recovery policy after nuclear accident in Fukushima Masahiro Imamura, who is also a member of the house of representatives of Japanese Parliament and member of parliamentary friendship group Tajikistan-Japan.

As reports the information Department of the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan, the Ambassador congratulated Masahiro Imamura with the assuming the post of Minister and wished him success in his important tasks.

During the meeting the sides discussed issues of bilateral agenda, including the exchange of experience and technology to minimize the effects of natural disasters and the need for cooperation between private companies of the two countries in the implementation of reconstruction projects in this direction.

The interlocutors paid attention to the importance of providing technical and financial assistance to the relevant structures of Tajikistan and training of young specialists in the field of reducing disaster risks.

On the meeting were also discussed the aspects of multilateral cooperation at the international level and within international organizations.
