Asia-Plus news agency’s website is continuing to lead Tajikistan’s Internet segment in audience.
The first news bulletin of the Asia-Plus news agency was published twenty-one years ago, in early April of 1996.
Today, the Asia-Plus website is the leading news website in a TJ segment of Internet. Last year, a total number of visitors to our website reached 5.16 million people; 2.54 million of them are new visitors.
Asia-Plus leads the Yandex and Google web search engines in terms of mentioning key words “Tajikistan” and “News of Tajikistan.”
Today, the number of daily unique users of www.news.tj is 40,000; it is the highest number in Tajikistan.
Asia-Plus news agency started its activity in English and in Russian in 1996. It is privately owned and the owner is the Asia Plus Media Group. The agency is based in Dushanbe and it has an independent political leaning.
