A 19-year-old resident of the Qubodiyon district (Khatlon province) has been detained on suspicion of attempted murder and attempted robbery of refuel station in Dushanbe, at which which he was working.
According to the Interior Ministry’s website, he entered the refuel station on August 17 at 3:30 am and inflicted five stab wounds on the refuel station cashier, a 25-year-old resident of the Farkhor district (Khatlon province). The cashier was hospitalized.
Criminal proceedings have been instituted and an investigation is under way.
