In July this year, prices and tariffs in the country increased by 1.1%, which was a record high monthly inflation in the country since the beginning of this year.

In the first half of this year, inflation was only 0.8%: in January inflation was 0.4%, in April – 0.5%, in May – 0.6%, in June – 0.5%, and in February – March there were deflationary processes.

Thus, the inflation rate in Tajikistan for eight months of this year reached 2.8%.

The inflation this year was most strongly affected by the increase in tariffs for paid services, as well as the increase in prices for non-food products. Food, on the contrary, fell in price.

Increased the cost of travel by air, rail, as well as prices for liquefied gas.
