President Emomali Rahmon has introduced a number of staff changes shaking up more than 20 police officials.
By president’s decrees chiefs of police departments in Khujand, Isfara, Konibodom, Istaravshan, Shahriston, Ayni and Kuhistoni Mastchoh in the northern Sughd province were replaced, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Besides, chief police officer of Shamsiddin-Shohin, Danghara, Panj, Vose, Muminobod and Kushoniyon districts in the southern Khatlon province were also replaced.
Chief police officers of the cities of Tursunzoda and Vahdat as well as the district of Shahrinav (districts subordinate to the center) were replaced as well.
The chief of the police department-1 in Dushanbe’s Sino district and the chief of the police station at Dushanbe airport were also replaced.
The head of the Police College in the city of Kulob was replaced as well, according to the president press service.
