An enlarged meeting of the Dushanbe administration, presided over by its head, Rustam Emomali, will take place on January 15 to review the results of the past year’s results. 

Heads of Dushanbe’s districts and heads of municipal agencies will report on the results of the work carried out in 2018.

According to the mayor’s office, a special attention will be paid to issues related to creating new jobs, launching new industrial enterprises, implementing the municipal redevelopment plan and commissioning new social facilities in the city.  

In accordance with the Dushanbe administration’s plan, more than 4,000 industrial commercial, educational, medical, cultural and sports facilities are expected to be put in commission in 2019-2021.

The industrial enterprises that are supposed to be launched in the Tajik capital in he coming three years are expected to create more than 17,000 new jobs. 

The meeting will be also focused on issues of operation of municipal, passenger transport, educational and medical facilities, a source at the mayor’s office tol Asia-Plus in an interview.
