The Interior Ministry says the main instigator of setting 6-year-old Osiya on fire is a 13-year-old teen suffering from a mental disorder.

The Interior Ministry’s website says the main instigator of setting a 6-year-old Osiya Sherzod on fire is a 13-year-old teen from the Choryakkoron village in the Roudaki district, Sunatullo Ochildiyev, who reportedly suffers from a mental disorder.

The teenager has been put in the Republic Mental Health Center for Children and Teenagers, according to the Interior Ministry’s website

The investigation has reportedly established that it was Sunatullo Ochildiyev who played the main role in setting Osiya Sherzod on fire.

The statement also notes that Ochildiyev had earlier been threatening to set his dogs on Osiya.  “His dogs have been neutralized,” says the Interior Ministry.

The prosecutor’s office of Dushanbe’s Sino district is investigating the incident.

Recall, three teens purposely set the 6-year-old Osiya Sherzod on fire in broad white on June 19.  They reportedly tied the girl to a grid fence and set her on fire.
