Over the first six months of this year, inflation in Tajikistan has stood at 3.9 percent, according to the National Bank of Tajikistan (NBT).
Tajik central bank says inflation in June stood at 0.4 percent.
The annual inflation rate for Tajikistan is 8.7 percent for the 12 months ended June 2019.
Over the first six months of this year, prices set by producers of food products and prices and rates for services rendered to the population have increased.
Meanwhile, prices for non-foodstuffs have reportedly decreased over the same six-month period.
The government expects the country’s year-end inflation to stand at 7.0 percent this year.
Last year, the year-en inflation in Tajikistan stood at 5.4 percent.
