Representatives of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Dushanbe have denied media reports about the death of the leader of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
“This is absolutely lies,” a spokesman for the Turkmen Embassy in Dushanbe said.
A number of media outlets cited their sources earlier on Sunday alleging that the Turkmen president had died.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Turkmen Embassy in Dushanbe says President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on July 21 congratulated employees of Turkmenistan’s health sector of their professional holiday.
