Tajik Opera and Ballet Theater troupe will go on tour to the Uzbek city of Samarqand from October 13-19, according to the Ministry of Culture (MoC).

An official source at a MoC says the Theater will present two performances to Uzbek spectators: children’s play “Nanny Goat the Curled Legs” and adult performance “Maisara’s Tricks” based on the play by Uzbek poet and playwright Hamza Hakim-zade.   

The return tour of Uzbek artistes to Tajikistan is scheduled to be held in April next year, the source added.
