Tajik authorities have launched a work to foster humanism among students of educational institutions.  The plan of actions that were launched on November 8 and will last until June 4 of 2020 has been endorsed by Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali.

According to the department for information and international cooperation of the Dushanbe mayor’s office, the first meeting of a working group took place at Tajik National University in Dushanbe on November 8.

Students, post-graduate students and teachers of this University participated in this meeting.

They reportedly discussed issues related to tolerance, humanism, formation of healthy lifestyle, spiritual enrichment, protection of spiritual health of a family, an individual and society against social threats, infectious diseases, terrorism, extremism, squandering and moral corruption.

Researchers, psychologists and clerics are reportedly carrying out the work to foster humanism among students.  

The events are reportedly held as part of the implementation of relevant points of the minutes of the government session of September 30, 2019 for the purpose of promoting a healthy mind, humanistic mission, responsibility and moral development of society, an official source within the Dushanbe mayor’s office told Asia-Plus in an interview.
