On Wednesday November 27, President Emomali Rahmon held a government session, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The government reportedly endorsed a draft law on state services and daft amendments proposed to the country’s laws on mortgage and inspection of economic entities’ activities as well as draft amendments proposed to the tax code.

The government also discussed and approved a draft law on the state regulation of pricing.  It was decided to send the draft law for consideration to the Majlisi Namoyandagon (Tajikistan’s lower house of parliament).

The government also approved the national statistics development strategy designed for the period to 2030.

They also discussed the program for legal training of citizens designed for 2020-2030, the rules and procedure for handling of passengers on international flights at the country’s airports and some other documents.  

Speaking at the meeting, Emomali Rahmon drew attention of the government members to the problems related to the winter season, the president’s website said.
