“On Friday June 22, Tohir Ahmadov, the head of the consular department of Tajik Embassy in Moscow, visited the city of Solnechnogorsk in the Moscow region to learn about Tajik nationals hospitalized with symptoms of food poisoning,” Egamzod said in an interview with Asia-Plus.

“The consular found out that that in all, some 70 workers were hospitalized Thursday night with symptoms of food poisoning; of them, only 10 are Tajik nationals, while others are residents of various Russian regions that came to the Moscow region seeking better employment opportunities,” said Egamzod, “All victims were taken to hospitals in the city of Solnechnogorsk and neighboring district of Khimki.”
