Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali yesterday got acquainted with the process of construction of large facilities in Dushanbe, including a water complex and the “Istiqloliyat and Ozodi” (Independence and Freedom) architectural complex.

On January 29, Rustam Emomali, in particular, got acquainted with the process of construction of the “Istiqloliyat” Park with the “Istiqloliyat and Ozodi” architectural complex, which will be built in the area of 8.5 hectares, according to the Dushanbe Administration press center. 

A total area of the “Istiqloliyat” Park with the “Istiqloliyat and Ozodi” architectural complex will be 30 hectares.  The facility is expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Rustam Emomali yesterday also visited the site for construction of a new 30,000-seat stadium on the Nizami Ganjavi Street in the Sino district.

The mayor also visited the site for construction of a large sports complex on the Karamov Street.  This sports complex is expected to be commissioned by Navrouz festival.

While getting acquainted with the progress of construction of these facilities, the mayor paid a special attention to the quality of construction works and the quality of building materials used for construction of the facilities. 

Nineteen local and foreign companies have been participating in constriction of these facilities, the Dushanbe Administration press center said.
