Tajik President Emomali Rahmon as signed a decree declaring the next two decades the period of development of natural and exact sciences in the country.

President Emomali Rahmon on January 31 signed a decree declaring 2020-2040 the years “of study and development of natural, exact and mathematical sciences” in Tajikistan, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  

Under this decree, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Academy of Sciences and other relevant ministries and agencies having educational institutions are tasked to develop the plan of actions within three months and submit it for consideration to the Government, the website says.
