President Emomali Rahmon is continuing to shake up officials.

By president’s decree Khurshed Ziyoi, who had previously served as First Deputy Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of Tajikistan, was appointed to head the Center, according to the Tajik president’s official website.

The former Director of the Center for Strategic Studies Dilovar Qodirzoda was appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Science.  

Besides, by government’s decree Nourali Sobirzoda, formerly Pro-Rector of Tajik National University in charge of economic and social issues, was appointed Deputy Minister of Education and Science. 

By government’s decree Major-General Suhrob Mahmadzoda was relieved of his post of Deputy Minister of Defense in charge of armament and military equipment also Chief of the Armament an Military Equipment Directorate of the Ministry of Defense in connection with transfer to other job.  

By government’s decree Ahliddin Majidzoda was relieved of his post of Chief of the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense.  

By government’s decree Nourali Homidzoda was appointed Director of the Open Joint-Stock Company (OJSC) Kulob International Airport replacing Ali Komilzoda.
