President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes on February 14, according to the Tajik president’s official website. 

The president’s website says that in accordance with Article 69 (9) of the Constitution, proposals of the President on relieving deputy prosecutors-general have been submitted to the Majlisi Milli (Tajikistan’s upper chamber of parliament).

The President proposes to relieve Hotam Nazarzoda of his post of First Deputy Prosecutor-General in connection with transfer to other job, Muhamamdibrohim Osimzoda of his post of Deputy Prosecutor-General in connection with transfer to other job, and Vali Vahhobov of his post of Deputy Prosecutor-Gen in connection with transfer to other job.

The President proposes to appoint Abdughaffor Hikmatullozoda First Deputy Prosecutor-General, Dilshod Talbakzoda Deputy Prosecutor-General and Abdurahim Rahimzoda Deputy Prosecutor-General.

In accordance with Article 69 of Tajikistan’s Constitution, the President appoints and relieved the Procurator General and his deputies with the consent of the Majlisi Milli. 

Besides, upon the agreement with the President prosecutors of Dushanbe, Dushanbe’s Sino and Ismoili Somoni districts, Hisor, Tursunzoda, Buston, Yovon, Qubodiyon, Muminobod, Jabbor-Rasoulov and Ayni were replaced. 

Deputy prosecutors of Khatlon and Sughd provinces were also replaced.
