China hands over 100,000 COVID-19 test kits to Uzbekistan

China is continuing to provided assistance to Uzbekistan with combating the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

Telegram-Channel Novosti Tashkentskogo Neba (News of Tashkent Sky) says a plane carrying the second consignment of China’s humanitarian aid landed at the Tashkent airport today morning.

The assistance reportedly includes 100,000 COVID-19 test kits.

The rest of the humanitarian aid that includes 50,000 medical protective overalls,  150,000 medical masks KN/N95, 1 million surgical masks, 70,000 protective eyeglasses, 150,000 medical gloves and 1000 noncontact digital thermometers will be delivered to Uzbekistan in stages, according to Novosti Tashkentskogo Neba

Recall,  China donated the first consignment of protective medical supplies to Uzbekistan on March 30. 

According to Xinhua, the medical supplies included surgical gloves, infrared thermometers, medical goggles and fast test kits.
