Local entrepreneurs will be involved in construction of those hospitals that will be provided with all necessary medical equipment, the Plan says.

Besides, the head of state has ordered the Republican Commission for Prevention of the Further Spread of COVID-19 and the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population “to intensify activities on the complete eradication of this virus and elimination of existing shortcomings.”

Under the Plan, the Committee for Architecture and Construction under the Government of Tajikistan and the Dushanbe Administration are to develop the project for construction of the infectious diseases with a total of 1,500 beds in Dushanbe and to begin constructing a hospital with a total of 650 hospitals in September this year.

Emomali Rahmon has also ordered to set up a working group to determine the cause of an outbreak of COIVD-19 in the country until June 5, 2020.
