Dushanbe authorities have introduced new prices for bus and trolleybus passes in terms of their categories.

Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali has signed a decision on introducing new prices for public transport passes, according to the Dushanbe mayor’s office.

Thus, a half-year public transport pass for schoolchildren now costs 150 somoni, a half-year public transport pass for students now costs 200 somoni, and a half-year public transport pass for citizens now costs 300 somoni.

Annual public transport passes for schoolchildren, students and citizens cost 200, 300 and 500 somoni respectively.

Recall, a single card to pay for travel by bus and trolleybus, called Citycard, was introduced in Dushanbe on March 1, 2018.

Discounts are provided for passengers using express cards (QR-Kod).  A 30-percent discount is provided for students purchasing the cards for more than 50 rides, and a 15-percent discount is provided for other passengers purchasing the cards for more than 50 rides.
