A friendly meeting took place in Khujand, at the stadium "20th Anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan".

The youth national football team of Tajikistan (U-16) on September 21 defeated peers from Uzbekistan in the first friendly match.

The meeting ended with a score of 1:0 in favor of the Tajik team. The only goal in the 38th minute was scored by Khusrav Toirov.

On Thursday, September 24, the youth teams of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan will play the second friendly match at the stadium "20th Anniversary of Independence of Tajikistan" in Khujand.
