A resident of the city of Nurek, a 28-year-old resident of the rural jamoat Puli Sangin previously convicted under Article 237 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Tajikistan, was detained by police officers on suspicion of giving a bribe on an especially large scale, reported by the press center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tajikistan.
He offered the police a large sum of money for exemption from responsibility for an intimate relationship with a local minor girl.
«The suspect on July 27 this year in the recreation area "Somon Plaza" in Nurek entered into an intimate relationship with a 17-year-old local resident. This became known to law enforcement agencies.
