DUSHANBE, April 27, Asia-Plus — Fire has completely destroyed a hayloft of the Dushanbe Hotel in the Tajik capital.

The fire broke out in the hayloft of the Dushanbe Hotel yesterday afternoon.  More than 20 fire-engines, including firefighting of Russian military base stationed in Tajikistan, were involved in extinguishing the fire, and the fire was brought under control at around 5:00 p.m.

The hotel’s rooms were not affected, but the fire completely destroyed the hayloft.  The blaze is believed to have started in the hayloft, but the cause is not yet known.  No injured was reported.
