All Tajik national TV channels and radio stations will broadcast presidential inauguration ceremony that will take place on October 30. 

The ceremony will be broadcast live beginning at 9:00 am employees of state-run agencies and organizations will watch the presidential inauguration ceremony.  

Recall, a dance teacher at a choreography school in Dushanbe was fired in February 2018 for skipping presidential address.

Saida Rustamova told RFE/RL on February 14, 2018 that official documents stated she lost her job because she was not present in the school auditorium where students and teachers were gathered to listen to the president's live televised address.

Rustamova said she had left the auditorium because there were no available seats anymore.

The school principal told RFE/RL that Rustamova was fired because of her poor professional performance and her failure to observe her supervisors' recommendations.

Emomali Rahmon will swear in for his fifth term in office as Tajikistan’s president on October 30.  The inauguration of Emomali Rahmon as President of the Republic of Tajikistan will take place on this day.  The inauguration will mark commencement of the fifth term of Emomali Rahmon as President.

A military parade will be held in Dushanbe on the occasion of the 2020 presidential inauguration.  Servicemen of the Dushanbe garrison will march on October 30 after a ceremonial event marking the commencement of a new seven-year term of a president of Tajikistan.

Rahmon was reelected on October 11 with 90.92 percent of the vote.  The victory gave him a new seven-year term in office until at least 2027.

Rahmon ran against four largely loyal candidates.
