The Russian government has upped its international student quota for universities.

By government’s decree the international student quota for universities will be upped next year by 3,000 to 18,000.

In 2022, the international student quota for universities is expected to increase to 23,000, and in 2023, the international student quota for universities is planned to be upped to 30,000.  

Of 15,000 seats provided in 2020, Tajikistan reportedly received 630 seats.
