President Emomali Rahmon, who is also Head of the Government of Tajikistan, has approved new members of the Board of the State Unitary Enterprise (SUE) Sanoatsodirotbonk (Industry & Export Bank).

By government’s decree Saadi Qodirzoda, Head of the State Committee on Investment and State-owned Property (GosKomInvest), and Yusuf Majidi, Deputy Minister of Finance, were approved as members of the Sanoatsodirotbonk Board.       

Recall, the SUE Sanoatsodirotbonk was granted operating license on October 23.   .

By government’s decree issued in August last year Hokimsho Jourakhon, who had previously served as Director of the State Entrepreneurship Support Fund, was appointed to head the SUE Sanoatsodirotbonk.  

This bank was reportedly established on the basis of the State Entrepreneurship Support Fund to finance entrepreneurs’ projects.

By government’s decree the State Entrepreneurship Support Fund under the Government of Tajikistan has been reorganized to the SUE Sanoatsodirotbonk.

The State Entrepreneurship Support Fund was established in 2014 to support the successful development of entrepreneurial companies through an array of business support resources and services.

In a statement delivered at a meeting with entrepreneurs and investors in Dushanbe, President Emomali Rahmon noted on October 14, 2014 that the State Entrepreneurship Support Fund’s budget will be replenished with 1 billion somonis within the next seven years.
