60 students of the Khujand Lyceum for Talented Children participated in the preliminary round of the IMEC-online Olympiad and 50 of them reportedly qualified for the IEC-online Final Round that will take place on May 8 this year.  

In all, 9,258 school students from 28 countries have participated in the IMEC.online Olympiad this year.

There are three levels of participation, 1st level grade 4 and grade 5, 2nd level  grade 6 and grade 7, 3rd level grade 8 and grade 9.

The key competence tested by IMEC online Olympiad is reportedly logical combination, not just pure knowledge of formulas.

The IMEC online Olympiad Preliminary Round must be conducted by the country or region of each IMEC online Olympiad member.  Students in the pre-selection will be eligible to participate in the Final Round.  Per category, 60 % of the IMEC online Preliminary round per category  qualifies for the IMEC online Olympiad Final Round.

The mission of the IMEC online Olympiad is to advance the understanding of mathematics.  IMEC online Olympiad makes students love mathematics. So they can test that they are more successful. Nothing is difficult. Trust yourself, work and achieve success.
