Davlatshoh Gulmahmadzoda had served as Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection since January 14, 2019.

Prior to this, he served as Governor of the Khatlon Province from November 2013 to January 2019.  From January 19, 2010 to November 2013, Gulmahmadzoda served as Mayor of Tursunzoda City.
