The meeting of the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Kyrgyzstan Nazirmad Alizoda with the Foreign Minister of this country was held yesterday, May 31, in Bishkek, reported by the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
It is noted that during the meeting Nazirmad Alizoda and Ruslan Kazakbaev exchanged views on the state of Tajik-Kyrgyz relations. The interlocutors discussed issues of delimitation and demarcation of the state border, maintaining an atmosphere of peace and stability in the border areas.
«Alizoda noted that Tajikistan intends, by searching for mutually acceptable solutions, taking into account its national interests, to progressively continue the negotiation process on the delimitation and demarcation of the Tajik-Kyrgyz border line», – reported by the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reports that special emphasis was placed on taking measures necessary to maintain peace and stability in the border territories of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
«Minister Kazakbaev stressed that the Kyrgyz side is aimed at achieving practical results in describing the passage of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border line in a short time, taking into account the interests of each of the parties», – reported on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the source, the parties also discussed issues related to the legal stay of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan in the territories of both states.
