President Emomali Rahmon toddy began a working visit to the northern province of Sughd.
According to the Tajik president’s official website, the purpose of the visit is for the head of state to get acquainted with socioeconomic situation in the area and inaugurate a number of social and economics facilities.
Ayni district was the first leg of president’s trip to Sughd. While in the administrative center of the district, Emomali Rahmon reportedly inaugurated a boarding school, new maternal hospital, stadium and sewing workshop.
He also inaugurated the Square of National Flag and Emblem in Ayni.
Besides, the head of state attended an official opening ceremony of a new farming unit in the district.
