4 thousand servicemen and more than 500 pieces of equipment take part in joint maneuvers.

The commander of the troops of the Central Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin arrived in Tajikistan to check the readiness of the military contingents for the final stage of the three exercises of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) that started in the south of the country on October 18.

At the “Momirak” training ground, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin will hear a report from the Deputy Commander of the Central Military District, Lieutenant-General Yevgeny Poplavsky on the idea of the joint exercise of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) of the CSTO "Interaction-2021" and the procedure for the drawing of the stage of practical actions, reported by the press service of the Central Military District.

At the "Kharbmaidon" training ground, Lapin will check the organization of work at the CSTO CRRF command post, and will also hear reports on the readiness of the leaders of the special exercises "Echelon-2021" and "Poisk-2021".

In addition, Colonel-General Alexander Lapin will check the aspects of organizing the work of the operational staff of the CSTO CRRF and the comprehensive protection of field command posts.
