The 6th Congress of Teachers and Educators from CIS Member Nations will take place in Dushanbe from October 27-30. 

The theme of the Congress, which is being organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan under support of the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation, is “CIS Educational Space: Strategic Resource for Its Sustainable Development.”

Representatives of educational sectors of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are expected to participate in the forthcoming Congress.  

A number of plenary meetings, thematic sessions, penal discussions and roundtables will be held on the sidelines of the Congress to discuss principles of interaction in improving the quality of school education and development of academic mobility.  

They will also share developments in the field of innovative educational technologies, the CIS Executive Committee press service says.

The Congress will end with the adoption of a resolution, which will reflect the spheres and methods of interaction and define a strategy and promising tools for the development of education within the CIS area.
