The head of the constitutional guarantees department within president’s office, Yusuf Salimov, met with them.  Senior representatives from the Dushanbe mayor’s office and Dushanbe’s Sino district also attended the meeting.

According to the entrepreneurs’ defense lawyer Yusuf Qudratov, the appeals court of the Supreme Court began considering their appeal on March 17.  The judge ordered adjournment after defense lawyer said that he would be on business trip and the market director Boturkhon Talbakov was currently at hospital.  “However, the appeals court considered the case without our participation and upheld the decision made by the court of first instance,” said the lawyer, “Therefore, entrepreneurs decided to apply to president’s office.”

The government officials refused to give the details and results of the meeting, while, entrepreneurs noted that had not heard any consolatory for them.
