QURHGON TEPPA, March 31, 2009, Asia-Plus — The regional government of the Khatlon province and the holding company, Ismoili Somoni, have agreed to jointly sponsor Qurghon Teppa’s soccer team, Vakhsh, this year, the team head Isroil Sharipov said in an interview with Asia-Plus.
According to him, Ismoili Somoni has agreed to go halves with the regional government on financing the team this year. “The seasonal expenses for our team are estimated at one million somoni,” Sharipov said.
