Dushanbe mayor promises to create more than 23,000 jobs in Tajik capital next year

More than 23,000 new jobs will be created in Dushanbe by September next year.

Dushanbe Mayor Rustam Emomali remarked this at a session of the Dushanbe legislature (Majlis) that took place at the end of the last week.

According to him, more than 4,100 economic and social facilities will be commissioned in Dushanbe by the 30th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence that will be celebrated in the country on September 9, 2021.

The mayor noted that more than 23,000 new jobs will be created in the Tajik capital by September next year.

The main jubilee facility is the Istigloliyat (Independence) Park.  The mayor noted that the first phase of construction of the park had already been completed.

Besides, 13 new high schools to accommodate a total of 14,000 pupils and seven preschool institutions to accommodate 2,000 children will be commissioned in Dushanbe by September next year, Emomali said.

The mayor noted that about 24,000 new jobs had been created in the Tajik capital in the passing year alone.
