President signs laws aimed at promoting development of electronic document management in Tajikistan

President Emomali Rahmon yesterday signed a number of laws, according to the Tajik president’s official website.  Among them are the laws on public procurement, electronic document and electronic signature.

Besides, the head of state also signed laws on making changes and addenda to the country’s laws on protection competition, checking the activities of business entities, state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs, individual deposit insurance.

The adopted laws are reportedly aimed at promoting the development of economic and social spheres, entrepreneurship, protection of human rights and freedoms, crime prevention, development of electronic document management in the country, creation of new jobs and improvement of the standard of living of the population.
