Tajik President Emomali Rahmon introduced a number of staff changes yesterday, according to the Tajik president’s official website.
Muzaffar Huseinzoda, who had previously served as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, is appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Belgium also Non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the European Union and NATO, replacing Erkin Rahmatulloyev, who was retired for age reasons.
Sharaf Sheralizoda, formerly Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, is appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Swiss Confederation also Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Geneva, replacing Jamshed Homidov.
Bakhtovar Safarzoda, who had previously served as Representative of Tajikistan to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO PA) and the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), is appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Belarus also Non-Resident Ambassador to Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Finland as well as Permanent Representative of Tajikistan to the CIS Statutory and other Bodies, replacing Mahmadsharif Haqdod, who was retired for age reasons.
Kirom Amriddinzoda is appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to the Republic of Korea, replacing Yusuf Sharifzoda, who was relived of this position in connection with transfer to another job.
Vafo Niyatbekzoda, who had previously served as Head of the MFA Directorate for Strategic Studies also Tajikistan’s Special Envoy on Afghanistan Issues, is appointed Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Turkmenistan, replacing Farrukh Sharifzoda, who was relieved of this post in connection with transfer to another job.
