On August 16, the President of Tajikistan, as part of his working visit to the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, took part in the opening of a number of industrial facilities in Vanj, the press service of the head of state reports.

With the participation of the president, Kindergarten No. 1 was opened in this area, designed for 200 children.

 

The President also launched the work of the center for creativity of children and adolescents, where conditions have been created for training in 4 clubs.

 

Also, the building of the district's education department was commissioned today. There is a small hotel in the same building.

 

After that, the head of state visited the exhibition of achievements of agricultural producers of the district and met with activists of the district.

 

Then Emomali Rahmon checked the progress of the construction of the “Sebzor” hydroelectric power plant in the Roshtkalinsky district of GBAO.

The main dam of the hydroelectric power plant will be 60 meters long and 8 meters high, and the displacement will be 5 million cubic meters.

Construction began in December 2020. Its capacity will be 11 MW.

Today, Emomali Rahmon commissioned the substation of the “Sebzor” hydroelectric power station with a voltage of 110 kilovolts, four transformers are installed on it.
