Tajik premier meets with Iranian first vice-president in Bishkek to discuss cooperation

Tajik Prime Minister Qohir Rasoulzoda on October 26 met in Kyrgyzstan’s capital, Bishkek, with Iranian First Vice-President Mohammad Mokhber on the sidelines of the 22nd Meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Member States.

Tajikistan’s state-run news agency Khovar says the parties discussed issues related to bilateral trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Islamic Republic of Iran.

They, in particular, discussed the bilateral cooperation between the two countries in banking and medical sectors, development of private sector, intensification of work of the joint intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation, launching new air routes and expansion of air services between Tajikistan and Iran.
