President inaugurates the motorcycle-manufacturing plant in Khatlon’s Kuhsoniyon district

On Thursday November 7, the President of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, in continuation of his working trip to the southern province of Khatlon, visited Kushoniyon district.

The president’s official website says Emomali Rahmon inaugurated the "Vahsh Sanoat" plant for the manufacturing of two-wheeled and three-wheeled motorcycles in the district. 

The plant for the production of electric vehicles was reportedly built on an area of 15,325 square meters. 

The production plant consists of a workshop for the manufacturing of iron parts of vehicles, a section for shaping metal products, a section for welding and polishing of metal, a workshop for painting iron parts, a section for painting and drying large and small metal components, as well as a workshop for the final assembly and installation of vehicles.

During the familiarization Emomali Rahmon instructed the officials to present 20 wheelchairs to the needy people of the district.

The head of state was shown a sample of manufactured products.

The company reportedly produces more than 30 types of such vehicles, including 5 types of motorcycles, 6 types of scooters, 15 types of two-wheeled scooters and 5 types of tricycles.

The production capacity of the enterprise is up to 800 vehicles per month and 9 thousand 800 vehicles per year depending on the domestic market demand.

The installed modern technology allows the production of high-quality vehicles that are also suitable for export.
