’s Prosecutor-General Bobojon Bobokhonov telling a telephone press conference today denied rumors that criminal proceedings might allegedly be instituted against former Tajik Energy Minister Jurabek Nurmahmadov as “unfounded.”

It was recently rumored that Jurabek Nurmahmadov might face charges for shortcomings and machinations.  

Tajik chief prosecutor told Asia-Plus that the Prosecutor-General’s Office did not have any documents confirming that.
