Tajikistan’s housing-municipal economy over-fulfills 2005 target by 04 percent

DUSHANBE, February 2, Asia-Plus — In 2005, a total revenue of enterprises within the system of Tajikistan’s housing-municipal economy amounted to 16.09 million Somonis.

According to Muhamamdjon Mahmadjonov, director general of the “Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali” (housing-municipal economy) State Unitary Enterprise, last year their enterprises carried out construction and assembling works for an amount of 2.319 million Somonis across the republic (except Dushanbe, Khujand, Chkalovsk and Roghun that are not served by “Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali”).  

Compared to the determined target the index of the volume of work carried out last year amounted to 100.4 percent, according to Mahmadjonov.   “Fifteen facilities were put into operation in various regions of the country,” he said. 

In Sarazm, Panjakent District in Sughd, enterprises of the housing-municipal economy system, in particular, carried out repair and rehabilitation works as well as put into operation a new pump station.  “220,000 Somonis have been provided for carrying out the works  in Sarazm,” Mahmadjonov said.
