.  He had served in the regiment of the Russian military base in


Tajikistan


since December 2005.  In the meantime, the source found it difficult to say whether the missing serviceman was armed or not.

motorized rifle regiment stationed in Kulob was reported missing.  

According to reliable sources at the Russian military base, in February 2006 alone, five cases of absence without leave were registered.
