Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the chairman of the South Korean National Oil Corporation (KNOC), Kang Young-won, and the deputy minister of knowledge economy, Kim Jung-gwan, on 15 April.

Kang Young-won briefed Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the South Korean National Oil Corporation operations and capabilities. “KNOC is ready to join promising projects focusing on diversification of Turkmenistan”s fuel and energy sector and other projects,” the guest said.

Having noted that Turkmenistan is interested in attracting advanced technologies and modern equipment from South Korea, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov briefed the guests on the priorities of Turkmenistan”s social and economic development. “We will be glad if our Korean partners join the implementation of our economic programs,” he said.
